  • The ADATA XPG SX930 SSD is a solid performer, it comes with 5-year warranty and it is available in capacities of 120GB ($64.99), 240GB ($109.99), and 480GB ($199.99)Note that the 480GB capacity variant has a slightly lower read and write speed but it's st...

  • Higher binned NAND, 5-year warranty, Both adapters included, Pretty solid performance
  • Not as fast as other high performance drives, No 960GB version available
  • ADATA also brings a lot of value with this drive. The thing that really stands out in the 5-year warranty and the higher binned NAND. Many companies are only offering 3-year warranties on their drives these days. Also this drive comes with a 3.5-inch to 2...

  • Consistently high performance, Better sequential performance than claimed, Five-year warranty
  • Only available in capacities up to 480GB
  • In a cutthroat market flooded with SSDs, ADATA has managed to deliver solid performance at a great price...

  • Adata's accessory package is comparable to the best on the market today. The SX930 also uses enhanced MLCflash that is new and exciting.
  • MLCis mainly just a way to compete with Samsung's superior flash before the 3D ramp up begins for Micron. The SX930 price is not competitive enough to be a real option for gamers or other targeted user group.
  • Flash enhancements for aging 2D technology are still not able to fill the gap between Samsung V-NAND and everything else. A lot of money is going into controller development to keep 15nm/16nm 2D flash viable until IMFT and Flash Forward's 3D roll-out. I...

  • Fast sequential-read speeds, Long five-year warranty, Well-conceived utility software, Good mix of accessories
  • Slower-than-average write speeds
  • A capable midrange SSD, ADATA's XPG SX930 delivers a good accessory and software bundle, plus some interesting write-caching tech, but it makes sense versus competing Samsung, SanDisk, and Crucial drives mainly as a price play. Read More…...
