The keyboard is one of the best features on the Alienware M17x. The keys feature a soft-touch covering, and the typing action feels easily tough enough to withstand hours of gaming. The Alienware M17x may be a great gaming machine, but it's not a good laptop. It's simply too large to carry around with you, and the battery life isn't up to much either. That said, it's still easy to pack in a draw once you've finished playing.
