  • Abstract:  Lisa Gade reviews the Kindle Voyage, Amazon's high end e-ink ebook reader that sells for $199. The Voyage has a 300 PPI Carta e-ink display with side lighting and an ambient light sensor. It's the highest resolution Kindle screen yet and it's perfect for ...

  • 300 pixels-per-inch display, Ambient light sensor, Edge-to-edge glass, Touch-sensitive page-turn buttons
  • Very expensive, Power adapter still not included
  • Amazon already had the best e-reader on the market with the Paperwhite. Amazon raises the bar with the Voyage, but pumps up the price tag at the same time....

  • Abstract:  The Kindle Voyage ? The name makes no sense, but I understand why Amazon didn't call its latest e-reader the Paperwhite 2. It's good enough to deserve a name all its own.The Kindle Voyage is stuffed with new features and meaningful improvements over the P...

  • Sleek design, Super sharp screen, Bright backlight
  • Very expensive, Interface identical to other models
  • Is the ereader dying? It appears not if Amazon's latest punt, and the reactions to it I've had, are anything to go by. This is an expensive device indeed, coming in at £170 compared to the sub £100 options from rivals (and Amazon itself, with the basic Ki...

  • Sleek design, Super sharp screen, Bright backlight
  • Very expensive, Interface identical to other models
  • The Kindle Voyage is a premium device with a higher cost associated. However, like the smartwatches it shares a price tag with, you can make a real case for this as a Christmas gift. It makes reading nicer. No matter how easy it is to read on a tablet or...

  • The Kindle Voyage is the summit of Amazon's e-reader line: it's the company's lightest touchscreen model ever, with the best resolution and contrast to date, better built-in lighting, a flush glass front and dedicated page-turn buttons
  • It's not a huge upgrade over the Kindle Paperwhite, but it costs considerably more. And you'll pay more still for a case, which isn't included
  • The Kindle Voyage is Amazon's best e-reader to date, and probably the best e-reader ever -- but it doesn't come cheap....

  • Its tricky to say whether something like the Voyage is worth it; so much depends on your personal ratio of "financial means" to "love of reading books on E-Ink displays with roof-shattering DPI."AdvertisementAdvertisementIf you have enough money that you...
