Abstract: В обзоре "AMD Kabini: Jaguar и GCN вместе в 15-ваттном APU-процессоре" мы узнали, на что способны архитектуры Jaguar и GCN в пределах теплового пакета 4 и 25 Вт. Однако что касается настольных систем, AMD пока не готова совершить переход на архитектуру следующего поколения. Совсем недавно компания представила новые APU Richland, которые, по сути, не такие уж и новые. Их можно рассматривать как процессоры Trinity, оптимизированные относительно электропитания. Они используют ядра x86 Piledriver и графическую конфигурацию VLIW4. Кроме того, APU Richland уже были доступны производителям мобильных устройства в течение нескольких месяцев.
