Abstract: Nachdem Intel bereits am Wochenende seine neuen "Haswell"-Prozessoren (zum Hardwareluxx-Test) enthüllte, lässt auch AMD pünktlich zur Computex 2013 seine "Richland"-APUs auf das normale Desktop-Segment los. Die Modellbezeichnung der 5000er-Reihe rutscht um eine tausender Stelle weiter. Insgesamt stellen die US-Amerikaner fünf neue Ableger vor, die sich nicht nur innerhalb ihrer Taktraten unterscheiden, sondern auch bei der integrierten Grafikeinheit mal mehr oder mal weniger Recheneinheiten aufweisen können. Viel Neues im Vergleich zu "Trinity" oder gar gegenüber den "Richland"-Notebook-Vertretern gibt es aber nicht....
Abstract: Last week, Intel released 4th Generation Core “Haswell” processors and this week we have AMD releasing the company’s 3rd generation of APUs, known as “Richland.” AMD “Richland” APUs are said to bring 20-40 percent performance increases over the previous generation of AMD A-Series “Trinity” APUs, so AMD fans have been waiting months for this day to come. The other nice thing about these new APUs is that they don’t require a new platform and work in all existing AMD Socket FM2 motherboards after a quick BIOS update.
