  • Abstract:  ATi's had a rough time of it over the past year or so with every single one of its last generation cards failing to live up to expectations and nVidia's equivalents consistently beating them on performance. However, with the release of the HD 3870 and HD ...

  • Very fast in most games; excellent image quality; HDMI and DirectX 10.1 support; works with six-pin power connectors
  • Gives single-chip speeds on a few games; very large card; requires two power connectors; drivers dont yet support a second HD 3870 X2 in CrossFireX mode
  • In most tests, the dual-GPU ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 graphics card blows away all competition. And even in the tests where it drops to single-card speeds, it still offers very good performance. ...

  • The ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 competes well against Nvidias high-end card in the same price range.
  • Its drivers need work.
  • The 3D graphics card market changes too rapidly for us to get bullish about a card with premature driver software. The ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 shows promise, even outscoring Nvidia on many PC games, but we would still wait until AMD works out the kinks b...

  • While the Radeon HD 3870 X2 has the potential to become one of, if not the fastest graphics cards released to date, it’s not something that I can recommend over Nvidia’s current flagship GeForce 8800 Ultra and 8800 GTX cards because it’s...

Cela faisait longtem...

  • At $449 the ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 graphics card is by far the fastest single card solution from AMD. It competes with the higher end GeForce 8800 series cards that are finally starting to show signs of aging. ...
