iPad mini 4 is more portable, is cheaper and has no camera bump, iPad Pro 9.7 has a better screen, overall performance, better audio, alongside Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard support
iPad mini 4 is slower, has lowerend specs, and doesn't have Apple Pencil nor Smart Keyboard support, iPad Pro 9.7 is heavier, not as portable and is more expensive
