  • Abstract:  Video Review: The Verizon iPhone has finally arrived... and now it's right in the hands of Kevin Pereira and Candace Bailey for a closer look. Find out what Apple has changed and kept the same in their new iPhone for Verizon Wireless, such as the new a...

  • The Verizon iPhone 4 offers a hot-spot feature not available on AT&T's device. Performance was better in most regards
  • The Verizon iPhone 4 lacks world roaming and the ability to access voice and data simultaneously. The hot-spot feature didn't work with all devices
  • The Verizon iPhone 4 has much in common with its AT&T counterpart, but varying features and different performance give it enough room to stand apart. It won't vastly change your iPhone experience, but we welcome the consumer choice that it brings.

  • Abstract:  The iPhone 4 on Verizon Wireless delivers the reliable data and voice coverage AT&T has failed to provide, making this device a dependable partner for work and play.

  • A device is only as good as its weakest link, and for many iPhone users that link has been AT&T. Although there are plenty of satisfied users getting the best from their iPhones on the GSM network, there are others for whom the iOS experience has been...

  • Solid 3G performance, Personal hotspot feature, Super-sharp Retina display, Excellent camera and 720p camcorder, Best-in-class App Store
  • Can't use voice and data simultaneously, Doesn't support global roaming, No 4G
  • Apple's best-in-class design and superior apps paired with Verizon's strong 3G network make for a stellar combination.

  • Far fewer dropped calls than AT&T versionNo Verizon crapwareIt's the iPhone 4
  • Data rates slower than AT&T modelHotspot interrupted by incoming callsPoor overseas roaming options
  • If you haven't caught the theme of this review, let us spell it out -- this is very much the iPhone 4 that people have come to know and love. It's not the next generation Apple device, it's not a wowee-zowee LTE experiment, and it isn't a revolution in mo...

  • It’s a better phone, period. More likely to pull a signal, even indoors — this could change the way we converse at bars. Hotspotting is wellintegrated and very easy to use. Has a whiter, slightly betterlooking display,
  • Slow data transfers compared to the AT&T iPhone. Sluggish app installs take away from the App Store’s instant gratification. Video streams are compressed more heavily, so Netflix and YouTube are uglier. No simultaneous voice and data transmissions thanks to the limitations of CDMA.

  • So where does all that leave us with? Well, it not all hunky-dory here and there exist issues that can jeopardize your idea of a perfect smartphone experience. Somewhat below-par call quality, sluggish surfing speed and defective multitasking features ...

  • Solid build quality; great camera; good battery life; slim for easy pocketing; simple and easy for new users to pick up and learn.
  • Very slick back; two slabs of glass versus one; larger capacity is a bit pricy at $300 on-contract; poor notification system.
  • After four years of waiting and relentless rumors, the Verizon iPhone doesn't fully live up to its hype. It is a very nice device that offers a consistent experience with very few hiccups and is great for smartphone newcomers and veterans alike. But ...
