  • Stunning, super high definition screen, Slimmer and lighter than previous model, Sturdy build quality
  • Ludicrously expensive, Performance is only average, No Ethernet port, No option to upgrade RAM
  • The 13-inch MacBook Pro boasts a superb high-resolution display and a slimmer, lighter physical design than its predecessor. Sadly, its average performance doesn't justify the astonishingly high price....

  • Great screen. Apple's usual excellent keyboard and trackpad. Dual thunderbolt and USB 3.0 gives decent port flexibility. Good battery life. HDMI
  • The base near the monitor gets quite hot during heavy tasks. Still waiting for everything to be high DPI compatible. Weight will make some consider the Air instead
  • There's absolutely no doubt that the MacBook Pro Retina 13 has a beautiful display. Some will be phased by the weight and go for the MacBook Air, others will deem it to be worth it. We just wish it came with discrete graphics....

  • Stunning super-high-res screen, First-class construction and software experience, Great battery life
  • Expensive, especially compared to 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro, Integrated graphics
  • Apple gives the razor-sharp-screen treatment to its 13-inch MacBook Pro, creating a 3.6-pound ultrabook killer for digital content creators. ...

  • Until the next crop of ultrabooks turn up with better-than-retina displays, it's safe to say this is the laptop we'd choose if money were no object. The 15in MacBook Pro does offer more processing power, but the 13in's size and relatively light weight mea...

  • Slimmer chassis with lower weight, Build quality, fit and feel, overall sturdyness, HDMI and USB 3.0 are on board, Very good input devices, keyboard backlight, High resolution IPS display with 227 DPI, Convincing performance, Speakers sound very good, Bat
  • Port selection somewhat limited, No dongles included, System is not expandable, Warranty is only 12 months, Not many BTO options, Display brightness fluctuates; bleeding is an issue
  • Apple MacBook Pro 13 Retina (Late 2012) The Apple MacBook Pro 13 with Retina is a logical addition to the Apple portfolio. The new member is a lot lighter than the regular Pro and more portable than the larger MacBook Pro 15 Retina . Visually the two sys...
