  • After spending several weeks playing games on the Killer NIC one thing is clear to me: it actually does work. However, the degree to which youll actually feel the difference depends very much on the game and your own sensitivity to lag-induced artifac...

  • Price!, Only two FNA applications available, Lack of support for Windows Server 2003 and Windows 2000
  • It isnt often that hardware manufacturers find a new way to boost online gaming performance. This makes the KillerNIC M1 a bit special in it being a completely new approach to increasing FPS and reducing "lag and latency". The way the KillerNIC functi...

  • It is obvious that the Killer NIC is not for everyone, but the potential for the card is actually quite compelling. And unlike some other recent additions to the gaming add-in card market, you can get some real-world benefits with this card right out...

  • Highly configurable; potential for nifty apps that run on the network card.
  • You already have a NIC on your motherboard, and this really expensive alternative doesn’t improve things that much.
  • Its not worth $279 or even $179. Probably not even for $99. It needs to be dramatically less expensive, and it needs to work better in more games. Use the money for other PC upgrades....

  • Abstract:  If you ask me, its a bit interesting ? the idea that nobody up until now has really addressed the specific networking needs of a gamer. Instead, theyve been forced to use the likes of on-board networking or mainstream solutions from add-in board comp...
