Excellent sound; a big bottom without sacrificing anything up top. Wonderful clarity. Comfortable, with beautiful leather and stylish design notes. They fold up nicely. Userserviceable pads, cables, and drivers
Price — all that handstitched leather ain't cheap. Designed for portability and isolation, so unless you have a noisy home, they aren't as desirable for home listening
Top sound quality, (Mostly) Excellent build quality
Expensive, Sound bettered by ‘at home' sets at price, Mediocre isolation, Jack construction needs a tweak
The Bowers & Wilkins P7 are classy headphones with the sort of construction most other sets can only dream of. Sound quality is bettered by open-back sets, but they're portable headphone royalty. As long as you don't work on a building site – noise isola...

Abstract: Nearly 50 years old, Bowers & Wilkins is well-known for its yellow Kevlar speaker cones and various loudspeakers. The English entity also offers headphones, and boy are they lookers . Bowers & Wilkins' first over-ear offering, the P7 ($399), promises dyna...

Wonderful sound, Replaceable parts, Good looks and build
Poor audio isolation, Not everyone will find them comfortable, Merciless with poor rips
There's no doubt that these headphones are good. They're probably even great. They probably even justify that price tag. If we were to judge them on audio quality alone – sitting here, writing this review, listening to the warm, layered, nuanced balm of ...

Excellent sound, Very comfortable, Blocks out sound very well, Gorgeous styling, Well-built
Expensive, Carrying case isn't protective enough
The Bower & Wilkins P7, the company's first over-ear headphones, look and sound like a million bucks....
Gorgeous design with quality materials, not too ostentatious for over-the-ear headphones and can be worn out and about, superb audio performance with all types of music and movies
Some sound leakage outwards means you'll be sharing with those in your immediate surroundings, hardly budget (but they don't look or sound it)
Perhaps the first and most impressive thing when taking the P7 pair out of the box is the feel: the weight, the soft leather, that brushed-aluminium and steel construction - all of which exude an aura of class. Then you put them on and things get e...
