Abstract: Initial setup for the Canon imagePROGRAF Pro-1000 printer is exceedingly user-friendly and simple. The entire process is laid out for the user piece-by-piece, cartridge-by-cartridge. There's a connectivity element as well, one in which you can connect to...
Superb image quality, excellent detail for even ultrahigh resolution image files, dedicated photo and matte black inks with no switching, easy to use
Heavy, no roll paper or panoramic support, media thickness limited vs. competitors
One consequence of having only two companies catering to a given market is that it's easy for them to bring their prices into alignment. And so it goes: Both the P800 and PRO-1000 retail for the same amount. Canon and Epson also charge the same price ($60...
On appré...

In a sweeping overview, Canon’s PRO-1000 would appear to have advantages over its main competitor – the Epson SureColor SC-P800. However, it’s still not going to be an easy choice for intending buyers to make. The PRO-1000 has 11 colours, a Chroma Optimiser...
Class-leading print quality, Supports cut sheets as large as 17x22 inches, Doesn't waste ink when switching between matte and glossy papers, Air-feeding system pulls in paper evenly, Built-in Wi-Fi
No option for roll paper, Vacuum paper feed makes some noise, Must purge roughly half a set of inks when transporting/shipping printer
Canon's revised 17-inch wide-carriage photo printer produces beautiful prints with deep, dark blacks and luscious colors. Our main quibble is the lack of support for roll paper. Read More…...
Ak použijete kvalitný papier, kvalita výtlačkov bude v oblasti vernosti farieb a ostrosti porovnateľná s produktmi polygrafického priemyslu. Cenu sme zisťovali až nakoniec, aby tento parameter neovplyvnil testovanie, a boli sme veľmi príjemne prekvapení...

The printer is fast and quiet (except when agitating the inks which comes as a surprise the first time). Print quality on Canon paper is breathtaking. Resolution is flawless in both colour and black and white. Blacks are dense and rich.
There is no installation disc for MacPixies which means following the printed instructions to a Canon site that manages the installation process, during which it installs an obsolete driver. It took a call to Canon to find out why there was virtually no P
This is an amazing machine. If you need to regularly produce A2 prints then it is also remarkably cheap. After all fifteen years ago $2000 was the asking price for a basic black and white laser printer. And think how few A2 prints could be made at a photo...
Prints really large sizes, though not billboard or taller than you sizes, Great build quality, Pretty simple to setup, If you haven't used it in a while, the printer will spend quite some time agitating the ink to ensure that it's ready for you, Very colo
Working with WiFi is seriously one of the biggest pains of working with this printer if you have to go onto multiple hot spots (from camera to printer and then back to your office to the printer). This is due to the printer's inability to store passwords,
I genuinely love this printer. It's very well worth the money if you're the type to print fairly large. If you're not, then maybe go with something smaller. But there is also a big difference between seeing your image on a screen vs in a very big print of...
