Dell hat das XPS 13 in einigen Punkten sinnvoll verbessert. Eine leistungsstärkere Hardware-Ausstattung gehört bei jeder neuen Generation zum guten Ton und äußert sich in einem schnelleren Prozessor. Während beim Arbeitsspeicher weiterhin bis zu 16 Gigabyte möglich sind, hat sich was bei der Speicherkonfiguration getan: das XPS 13 der vorherigen Generation wurde maximal mit einer 1 Terabyte großen SSD ausgeliefert. Beim XPS 13 (9380) verdoppelt sich der Speicherplatz und beträgt 2 Terabyte. Was wir inzwischen jedoch vermissen ist eine dedizierte Grafikkarte wie beim Matebook X Pro (zum Testbericht).
