  • Extremely Affordable, Wide Range of Customization Options
  • Doesnt Support 802.11n Wireless Without Upgrade, Access Panel Exposes Too Many Internal Components, Wedge Design Too Bulky at Hinge
  • Dells Studio 17 laptop certainly provides a good level of value. It is one of the best price to performance desktop replacement notebooks on the market and has a wide range of options for customization. The problem is that the design of the case makes...

  • Abstract:  Dells Studio range merges the design ethos of the XPS range with the budget mindset of the Inspiron range. Featuring the same hinge and blade-type design as the XPS, it comes in a variety of colours including Midnight Blue, Ruby Red and Plump Purple ...

  • HDMI output and a mini remote control; full keyboard with discrete numeric pad; full-HD panel option; fingerprint sensor; aesthetically pleasing touch-sensitive buttons; attractive design for a desktop replacement.
  • No S/PDIF digital audio output or subwoofer; TV tuner not an option; no eSATA port.
  • The Studio 1735 is much lighter and sleeker than the high-end XPS M1730 while retaining a competent multimedia feature set and high-end graphics performance.

  • Beautiful design, Solid selection of available configurations, Reasonable battery life, Nice keyboard, touchpad and media buttons, Great component layout, Dell Dock is a nice feature, Good value for the price
  • No lugs/screw posts for VGA cable and no docking station connector, Allinone access cover on the bottom of the notebook is either great or frustrating, No option for better graphics than ATI Radeon HD 3650 at this time
  • All things said and done, the Dell Studio 17 is the most impressive 17-inch consumer notebook weve seen so far this year. The build quality, range of customizable options, expandability, style, and price make this an excellent choice if youre in the ...

  • Vibrant display with good viewing angles, Great performance, Intuitive on-screen dock, Discrete graphics
  • Polarizing, bulky design, Finicky volume controls
  • The Dell Studio 17 is one of two flagship models in the company’s new Studio line, a mid-range line positioned between the entry-level Inspiron and high-end XPS series. Studio is for people who want something more powerful than an Inspiron, but don&...
