Great character design, Excellent visuals, Fantastic mission structure
Repetitive item fetch quests, Weapons and armor feel like missed chances
Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below is an excellent musou game and a blast to play. It retains its Dragon Quest heritage beautifully, while still creating an experience fun for any fan of musou gameplay

Abstract: I never really got into the Dragon Warrior series. I missed my chance to try it on the NES, being very late to get into the RPG genre ( Super Mario RPG being the first one I ever played.) The only official Dragon Warrior (well, it was Dragon Quest at that...

Abstract: Remember how much fun Hyrule Warriors was? How cool it was to see your favorite Zelda heroes in a totally different genre? Well that's exactly what Dragon Quest Heroes is trying to do for Square Enix's venerable RPG series. They even got Tecmo Koei's Omeg...
Enjoyable mix of Dynasty Warriors and Dragon Quest RPG, Fast-paced combat with spectacular specials, Crafting, questing and character progression systems add depth, Vibrant cartoon graphics and lots of personality
The Dragon Quest style isn't for everyone, Missions grow repetitive with time
While it has the same Dynasty Warriors meets… template as last year's disappointing Hyrule Warriors, Dragon Quest Heroes triumphs by making smarter use of the Dragon Quest franchise. Beneath the strategic brawling there are layers of RPG complexity, while...
