  • Abstract:  Square Enix har dammat av gamla Super Nintendo-klassikern Final Fantasy IV och gett det både en ansiktslyftning och nytt innehåll när man nu lanserar det till Nintendo DS...

  • Revamped 3D graphics and music; full voice acting for the FFIV cast for the first time; new Augment system adds an extra layer of depth
  • Still too similar to the original game; extra content from FFIV Advance has been removed; parts of Augment system slightly flawed
  • The definitive version of FFIV….but just barely. Beautiful and containing a hardcore challenge, but other than the cosmetic changes there’s not much new here. If you’ve never played Final Fantasy IV before, now is the time.

  • Abstract:  Ahhh, memories. They say you can never go back, but Square Enix consistently proves that false. Many older gamers will no doubt remember the classic Final Fantasy II way back in the glory days of the SNES, and I am no different. Not only was it the fi...

  • Abstract:  There was a game that was innovative for improving the turn based formula, giving a story like none have ever seen, and a translation none would want to see again. Of course, I am talking about Final Fantasy II. Since gamers missed out on the real FFI...

  • Abstract:  One of the best RPGs ever gets one of the best remakes ever. What was old has been made anew. Final Fantasy IV, perhaps the most cherished game of my childhood, now feels as fresh as anything else in modern gaming. Its easy to mock Square Enix for re...

  • Abstract:  Without a doubt one of the best portable remakes of a console classic, Final Fantasy IV for the Nintendo DS is a remarkable and downright satisfying game that does justice to the original and RPGs. Yes there are a few problems that pop up but they pale...

  • Ultimately, Final Fantasy IV remains the same epic experience it was seventeen years ago, and the DSs improvements are a welcome treat for fans of the series and newcomers to the franchise alike. With an engrossing story, ambitious characters, and ch...

  • Abstract:  Okay, Square Enix, you got me. After refusing to refer to Super Nintendo classic Final Fantasy II as its chronologically accurate name Final Fantasy IV, I am finally giving in. With your constant re-releases of the Final Fantasy series, my stubbornnes...
