  • Awesome sound, cool design, iPod dock built-in, works as computer or iPod speakers, remote (although not all that involved)
  • Expensive, bass really only shines at mid to high volumes, iPhone users must click off “Airplane mode” warning each time the iPhone is docked Every time you submit our site, an Angel gets its wings.
  • As a gadget addict, writing reviews on tech products is a bit of a double edged sword. On the one hand you get to test out some pretty cool gadgets before laying out your hard earned cash on them, yet on the other hand every once in awhile you review ...

  • Superb definition and tight, wellintegrated bass response; attractive industrial design; great feature set.
  • Pricey; no video output for a docked iPod.

  • Attractive, Mac-matching design; excellent sound quality; built-in DAC for USB audio; Sync/Audio setting lets you easily switch between iPod-audio and iPod-sync modes; can listen to multiple audio sources simultaneously.
  • Basic remote; iPod audio considerably louder than USB audio if both are playing at the same time; no headphone jack; no visible volume level.
  • The XS costs quite a bit more than most iPod/computer speakers out there, but it’s an excellent aesthetic match for Apple’s current hardware; provides some of the best audio you’ll get from a set of computer speakers; and, by letting you...
