Home Max setup only takes a few minutes, and you're ready to rock, Very clear, loud playback with big bass and highs. Google's EQ is pleasing to my ears. The AUX port is a nice touch if you have other devices to plug in, It's big and heavy, but the fabric
The touch bar is a bit clunky, At $400, this seems like a Google vanity project
The Google Home Max is the best-sounding smart speaker you can purchase right now. It has all the same Assistant capabilities as the smaller members of the Home family, but the audio quality is fantastic. Tracks sound crisp, and the bass is powerful witho...

Great sound, Audio-in lets you use Max as a TV speaker, Booming audio
Expensive, Large
Overall, I was very impressed with the Google Home Max. It delivers booming audio, lets you connect it to your TV, and can control your smart home devices via Google Assistant. However, at $400, it's twice as expensive as the Alexa-equipped Sonos One, and...
Abstract: The days of buying devices or smart assistants will be over soon enough. Amazon and Google have both made clear their intention to make their respective AI device agnostic, so the days of the standalone Google Home or Amazon Echo might well be numbered...

Abstract: DSEarlier this month at Google's 'Made by Google' event, the company made a surprise announcement that few saw coming. The team unveiled a brand-new Google Home device but unlike the Google Home Mini or Google Home, the new device was geared more towards a...
The Google Home Max is big & loud home speaker ideal for larger rooms like the living room or basement or any other bigger areas where you entertain. Whether you view it as just a larger Google Home or the company's entry into smart speaker big boy territ...
Abstract: Until I tried the Google Home Max, I had never met a smart speaker that brought a smile to my face just by turning up its volume. I was awash in the thumping bass from Zedd's “Clarity,” and it felt like my apartment's living room was in the middle of a n...

Abstract: The weird thing about picking up the Google Home Max is the weight. It's only 11 pounds, but it feels heavy, the way speakers used to feel. So I feel like I smirked when I plugged it in, thinking, “This thing's gonna be loud.” At top volume, the Google Ho...
