  • HDMI socket, 120GB hard drive, great graphics
  • Power pack is massive, still noisy
  • If youre a gamer and you want to get into the Xbox 360, this is the way to do it. Skip the Core and Pro and stump up the extra £50. It will be worth it in the long run.

  • Abstract:  La Xbox 360 sort enfin en France.

  • Elegant design looks stylish in most entertainment setups. Extensive digital media capabilities. Excellent games library. Robust online community. Powerful 3D graphics.
  • Like the original Xbox 360, the Elite generates a considerable amount of noise and heat. Console still lacks internal Wi-Fi. Power supply is way too bulky. No internal high-definition optical drive.
  • Even though the Xbox 360 Elite wont sway current owners to upgrade, its impressive feature set and strong online community make it the high-powered console to own....

  • The price is something that sets this console aside from the competition and for most buyers, the sheer number of quality games available will make the real difference. The PS3 also offers an incredible gaming experience, but the majority of the games...

  • Abstract:  The past year and change has been an interesting time for home theater enthusiasts, with the introduction of two competing high-definition movie formats, HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc. The scenario is very reminiscent to the 1980s when VHS and Betamax had ...

  • Abstract:  You might recall our review of the Microsoft Xbox 360 game console back in December 2005. Recently we acquired a Sony Playstation 3 and replaced the Xbox 360 with the Elite model. We thought it would be fun to compare the two premium game consoles in t...

  • The Xbox 360 Elite is a solid system worth owning, but only if you can take advantage of its features – and if you do not currently own an Xbox 360 system. If you currently have an Xbox 360, then you will want to pass on the upgrade as there are onl...

  • Excellent selection of games, including many 360-only exclusives; all games are in native high-definition; user-friendly Dashboard interface; supports wireless controllers and accessories; Xbox Live service offers online multiplayer (with matchmaking and...
  • The Elite fails to correct most of the annoyances of the original 360 version: The noisy DVD drive and cooling fan; a gigantic, oversized power supply; no built-in wireless networking; only three USB ports; a substandard DVD player; support for next-gen H...
  • While its neither a must-have upgrade for existing 360 owners nor as feature-packed as the PS3, the Xbox 360 Elites combination of top-notch gaming and digital media features make it the current game console of choice.

  • If you havent jumped on the Xbox bandwagon just yet, but had planned to (Halo 3, anyone?), the Xbox 360 Elite merits your consideration. The inclusion of the 120GB hard drive, HDMI, and full 1080p support may make this console pricey, but its also a...
