  • Good Value, Easy to setup and install, Good wireless range
  • Poor speeds, Confusing 'Fastlane' options, Requires initial setup again when changing modes
  • Before starting our review we knew that our current location would provide a very tough test for anything wireless and that we may not see speeds anywhere near the quoted rates, but the results from the Netgear EX6200 Range Extender were rather disappoint...

  • Great setup instructions. Excellent coverage. Modern, well-designed UI. Five Gigabit Ethernet ports. Dual-band. Supports .11ac. Can connect USB external drives and printers via USB 3.0 port.
  • Twice disconnected from the network after firmware upgrade. Not wall-mountable. Still saw alert to update firmware when firmware was at latest version
  • Netgear's AC1200 WiFi Range Extender (EX6200) is an excellent piece of hardware despite a few software hiccups after a firmware update. Five Gigabit Ethernet ports and a USB 3.0 port make this extender a winning proposition....

  • Five Gigabit ports, USB 3.0 storage & printer sharing, Very easy setup, 'FastLane' can increase available wireless throughput
  • Multicolor indicators too dim to be helpful, Can't use as access point
  • There is still no substitute for the reliability and throughput that Ethernet-connected access points can provide for solving wireless coverage problems. But the EX6200 shows that the higher bandwidth afforded by 802.11ac technology can be a surprisingly...
