The 'million-coin' ultimatum is one of the most fascinating and provocative changes to the Super Mario Bros. philosophy in an age. The graphics and music are of typically high quality. It remains accessible to newcomers and challenging to the dedicated.
A lack of new features. The 3D sacrifices image quality for unsatisfying, blurry depth of field. The main story is (as always) short, threadbare, and disposed of all too quickly.
