  • Simple control layout, Lightweight camera body, Very nice JPEGs, Excellent battery life (CIPA rated 1200 shots), Nice Dynamic Range in Raw files, Detailed, smooth 1080/60p HD video, Updated kit lenses
  • Cheapfeeling body, No built in sensor cleaning, Slow liveview autofocus, No touch or articulating LCD screen, Flash activates when it's not needed in 'auto' mode, Weaker strength flash rated for 7m, No secondary control dial for easy access to aperture an
  • Although the D3400 only received a modest update it still hold its own as one of the better beginner DSLRs on the market. The camera still features a 24MP APS-C CMOS sensor that offers fantastic Raw performance and punchy, yet pleasing JPEGs. The kit lens...

  • The Nikon D3400 delivers the image quality and speed that a first-time dSLR buyer should expect
  • A lot of the small annoyances from previous models remain, including tiny autofocus points in the viewfinder and a nonpersistent self-timer mode. Plus, its Bluetooth-only wireless solution isn't very good
  • Very good photo quality for its class plus performance fast enough to capture kids and pets make the Nikon D3400 A solid choice for a first dSLR...

  • This is a cheap camera but there is nothing cheap about its image quality. RAW files are excellent with consistently good white balance, sharpness and tonality. High ISO images are remarkably noise free – at ISO 6400 noise is barely visible and easily rem
  • The SnapBridge Bluetooth connectivity is no match for a full WiFi smartphonetocamera connection. It only transfers files from camera to phone and doesn't function as a wireless remote
  • This camera opens the door to the vast Nikon range of lenses and accessories. It is clearly aimed at those people who think that DSLRs are the only serious cameras worthy of consideration and at this price there certainly isn't much competition, except fr...
