The OCZ Octane SSD offers a large amount of storage at a relatively low price. The drive supports SATA 3 (6Gbps), performs very well, has up to 1TB of storage space, and works with all popular platforms, including Windows, Mac OS, and Linux
The OCZ Octane SSD is comparatively slower in terms of data transfer speed than other SATA 3-based solid-state drives. The drive is significantly more expensive than traditional hard drives of the same capacity

Now that OCZ has resurrected Indilinx with the Everest controller, the industry better take note because they've put together a splendid line of drives with Octane series and we get the feeling that they're just getting warmed up....
По поводу качества изделия - OCZ, наученная горьким опытом с устройствами, базирующимися на SF-2281, решила уделить много времени на тестирование нового накопителя, потому семейство Octane вышло относительно поздно (по сравнению с другими SSD подключаемым...

The SATA III OCZ Octane can easily be divided into two categories depending on what capacity you're looking at. The 128GB and 256GB models are clearly budget offerings based on their quoted performance numbers. Their MSRPs don't appear that way ri...
The Indilinx Everest is a surprisingly competent controller. When OCZ first mentioned its work on the controller to me I wrote it off as yet another low performing alternative that wasn't worth consideration. Based on its performance in our Storage Bench...
