Compa ny mission and integrity, Many features at an affordable price, Silent operation, USB Copy button, DDNS setup to access NAS from outside the network
Additional registration for software, Lack of front USB slot
There is so much more I could do with the Thecus N2310. There just is not time for me to test every feature of the NAS. With that being said, I have used many other high dollar NAS systems in the past, and the N2310 lives up to its name. From the sleek lo...
Priced like a NAS, looks like a NAS, but so much more, Offers a solution for pretty much every requirement, Great support from the manufacturer (yes that's right!), New applications are added all the time
Slightly underpowered for some of the apps it's capable of running, Slightly noisy when accessing drives
The Thecus doesn't just satisfy the everyday user's requirements, but offers the geek the capability to run most apps, and is a simple pathway into home automation and removing your data from other's servers without spending a heap of cash. Small business...
Abstract: Can you think of a NAS worth buying that costs less than $150.00 USD? I bet you would have a hard time answering that question. I have reviewed a slew of NAS and can't answer that question, until now. Thecus has done what many have considered as the impos...

The entry-level N2310 NAS from Thecus is featuring a different all-plastic chassis with support for both 2.5'' and 3.5'' drives. Thanks to the installable wizard, the setup can be done quite quickly, which can also include RAID creation. The motherboard i...
Abstract: On the rear of the unit you get a single USB3 port and another USB2 port, as well as Gigabit Ethernet. Sadly, there are no USB ports on the front of the NAS, although it does have a one-touch USB copy button for when you need to make a quick backup. You'l...
Fan can get a little noisy, A few bugs in the UI, Cheap plastic chassis

Very attractive price, Solid performance tested at close to 90MB/s read and write, USB 3.0 port functions at USB 3.0 speeds, Would be a very good choice for simply sharing files / media on a small network
Admin interface is a bit slow and basic, Mobile app is basic, Please drop by the Bigbruin.com Forum and feel free to post any comments or questions.
The Thecus N2310 2-bay NAS server is a solid option if you are looking for a 2-bay device that doesn't waste your time and money with fancy extras and just gets down to serving your files. While I prefer to have more drives in order to implement a more ro...
