  • Very good image quality with adjusted JPEG settings, excellent image quality with RAW images, Stabilized 18XZ zoom, Aspect ratio choices, Well supported RAW mode, Excellent monitor and EVF

  • 18x optical zoom with OIS and little fringing, Decent quality 2.5in screen, Intelligent Auto a useful auto mode, Good manual control and RAW facility.
  • Noise visible throughout ISO range, 50% pricier than earlier FZ8, No flip-out screen, May be too small and light for some.

  • Zoom 18x avec stabilisation optique, Mode macro 1 cm, Qualité des images en basse sensibilité (100 ISO), Appareil globalement réactif, Mode RAW et RAW JPEG
  • Pas de zoom pendant l'enregistrement vidéo, Pas d'écran LCD rotatif, Qualité des vidéos, Viseur peu précis, Une certaine lenteur à la mise sous tension et à l'enregistrement
  • Malgré quelques lacunes qui décevront certains (zoom pendant la vidéo, écran rotatif, relative lenteur...). le FZ18 reste le bridge 18x le plus intéressant du moment....

  • Its ease of use is of note for a user who isnt prepared to delve into a cameras manual exposure settings, but who wants something better than a point-and-shoot.
