  • Abstract:  Ett hemmabiosystem med få sladdar som enligt testarna ska leverera riktigt bra surroundljud utan alltför många separata högtalare. Dvd-spelaren skalar upp bilden till upplösningen 1080p.

  • Innovative, stylish and ultra practical design. Impressive picture quality with HD upscaling. Lots of features, wide and clear soundstage with movies. iPod dock included
  • No optical/coaxial digital audio inputs. Doesn’t really deliver much surround sound information. Uses a wire (the horror!) to connect the subwoofer to the main bar
  • It never quite sounds like a true surround system, but the HTS8100 still hits a near-perfect balance between style, convenience and performance ...

  • Abstract:  The HTS8100 is arguably the most extreme all-in-one system weve yet seen. For remarkably its entire electronics are somehow crammed into just two boxes: a straightforward subwoofer, and a metre-long speaker bar that miraculously contains the DVD deck, tun...

  • Stylish, space-saving design; fuss-free set up; 1080p video upscaling; versatile connectivity; impressive image quality
  • Expensively priced; subwoofer means it isnt totally discreet; compromised sound quality
  • The Philips SoundBar HTS8100 is an excellent solution for style-conscious buyers with limited time and space to set up a true surround system, but youll have to accept a few sonic compromises ...

  • Hgihly practical form factor, Genuine surround sound effect
  • Poor stereo imaging, No HDMI input
  • You have to take your hat off to Philips for coming up with the most innovative and literal interpretation of the one-box home cinema solution. Its SoundBar is easily the most practical TV-friendly form-factor in its class. But given that the 2.1 speak...

  • Stylish, all-in-one, DVD video and sound system; few wires and easy setup
  • Bass could be richer; no inputs for external video sources; large subwoofer adds clutter
  • A good choice for those with cramped spaces or a dislike for running wires

  • Abstract:  Philips hävdar i pressmaterialet att man nu höjer ribban för hemmabio och det gör man väl kanske, men det är inte den tekniska ribban man höjer. Möjligtvis höjer man pris eller designribban men inget annat.L...

  • Excellent HDMI video, Upscaling DVD playback, Good looks, Intelligible dialogue reproduction
  • Audio inputs inconveniently located, Ambisound mode makes soundtracks and music thin, Cables akimbo
  • The Philips SoundBar HTS8100 is good value for money, and able to deliver powerful movie soundtracks and excellent video quality via the HDMI output. ...
