  • 3D Blu-ray compatibility; excellent Blu-ray image quality; YouTube video streaming plus expandable Samsung Apps platform; built-in Wi-Fi; very fast operational speed; 7.1 analog output; 1GB onboard storage.
  • 3D price premium is high; buttons on top of player are inconvenient; last year's Samsung Blu-ray players had reliability issues.

  • Fast operation, 3D-ready, large content library via video-on-demand
  • Expensive compared to non-3D Blu-ray players, graphical user interface is sometimes slow, occasional visual problems with 3D video
  • The Samsung BD-C6900 is a very well put together Blu-ray player. It is fast to start, it's compact and attractive, and it can access Internet video content as well as playing 3D Blu-ray discs. It is expensive, but if you're keen on getting your video from...

  • Excels at 2D Blu-ray. Excellent feature set including apps and widgets. Integrated wireless. Good quality sound
  • 3D is terrifyingly overrated. Can't fix 3D problems through menu option
  • The Samsung BD-C6900 is an excellent 2D Blu-ray player and an average 3D player. Come for three dimensions stay for two! It will also play CDs respectably....

  • First in the market; Slim profile; Connectivity; Quickly loads Blu-ray discs; Can play movies, music, and photos; Online capabilities
  • Not compatible with older receivers; Not a lot of 3D Blu-ray discs available to fully enjoy the player's main function (which is not Samsung's fault)

  • Slim build and translucent lid, 2D and 3D Blu-ray performance, Network media streaming abilities
  • Journeyman audio performance, Single HDMI, Lack of 3D Blu-ray titles
  • Wtih fantastic picture quality, great features and 3D compatibility, the enticingly priced C6900 is worth serious consideration

  • 3D Blu-ray compatibility; excellent Blu-ray image quality; Netflix, Vudu, YouTube and Pandora media streaming, plus the expandable Samsung Apps platform; built-in Wi-Fi; very fast operational speed; 7.1 analog outputs; 1GB onboard storage

  • The Samsung BD-C6900 has excellent Blu-ray performance and is loaded with features, but you pay a lot for the 3D functionality.

  • Abstract:  With a height of less than two inches, Samsung’s svelte BD-C6900 is a well-featured Blu-ray player, and is the company’s first to provide 3D Blu-ray disc playback. Among other features (of which there are many), the player provides relatively quick ...

  • No-compromise delivery of true 3D content, Integrated 802.11n Wi-Fi (no antenna!) and 1GB of embedded memory for BD-Live, Extremely fast disc startup, Possibly Samsung's friendliest CE user interface to date
  • No glasses included (though you can get 2 pairs with purchase of TV and player), One of the audibly noisier players I've tried, The quality of traditional 2D content could be better
  • Samsung has made good on their promise to deliver a true Hollywood 3D experience in the home theater, bringing with this breakthrough a host of refinements to an all-around respectable player. Those eager to be the first on their block with Blu-ray 3D...
