  • Sleek, high quality metal and glass build, Superb Super AMOLED display, Genuinely useful S Pen and software, Class-leading camera, Excellent battery life
  • Expensive, Large compared to more mainstream phones, No USB-C video out

  • Stunning 4k AMOLED screen, Useful bespoke software, Stylus, Good low-light camera
  • Bit explodey, Massively overpriced, Lack of bezel encourages operational mistakes, Chipset is getting old
  • At $1349 we expect perfection and this isn't it. The lack of bezel means input mistakes are a constant bugbear. But the screen is good and the Iris scanner interesting. There's better value to be had everywhere else, though...

  • Superbly refined design, Significant S Pen upgrades, Slickest Samsung interface ever
  • No battery life improvements, Largely identical to S7 series, Iris scanner is imperfect — for now
  • There's no doubt about it, as usual — the $1349 Samsung Galaxy Note7 is the best phone that Samsung has ever made, again. It has the most refined design, adds an interesting new feature in the iris scanner, doubles down on the company's continued attempts...

  • Still too big for some hands, Very expensive, Carrier bloatware still horrible, No U.S. unlocked model

  • Gorgeous dual-curved design, Improved S Pen accuracy and features, Water resistant, Excellent battery life, Top performing camera
  • Recalled due to fires and explosions, Very expensive, Iris scanning feature can be finicky, Other Android phones are faster
  • If you want a phone with a big screen, the Galaxy Note 7 should be at the top of your list. It offers a gorgeous 5.7-inch display in a striking rounded design that's a pleasure to hold, plus a best-in-class camera, water resistance and very long battery l...

  • Looks great, feels even better, S Pen is better than ever, Superb camera
  • It's gonna cost you, Battery life isn't class-leading
  • 'The Note's just an S7 with an S Pen', a cynic might say. But really that's only half the story. It's the combination of the S Pen with the bigger 5.7in screen and clever software that takes advantage of both that makes it different. And while previously...

  • Samsung has taken the successful S7 edge, polished its back, added a stylus and iris scanning to come up with a winner. The Samsung Galaxy Note7 is undoubtedly the best phablet that money can buy now...
