The lens is as sharp as we would expect from an optic bearing the Zeiss branding. High ISO performance is excellent and image quality is very good indeed.
The autofocus is surprisingly slow, although accurate enough. Auto white balance is easily fooled. And the lens, generally good, shows marked barrel distortion
