  • Excellent quality for DVD and HD video, Very quick to start up, Reads many formats (DivX, Xvid, WMV, H.264 ...), Filesharing with PCs
  • No real remote control as standard, Using .srt files requires a reencoding

  • The PS3 is a flexible multimedia maestro, capable of far more than just spitting out next-gen games with rapier-sharp graphics. This beautifully built console also delivers glorious high definition movies thanks to its Blu-ray capabilities, and it’s...
  • On the flip side, the PS3 is a little lacking when it comes to top games, especially compared to the far cheaper Xbox 360. Whilst there are plenty of solid titles knocking around, Sony’s console still doesn’t have an exclusive “killer ap...
  • Die-hard gamers would be better suited to the Xbox 360 and its huge library of top titles, but there’s no denying that the PS3 is an impressive machine of many home entertainment talents, should you be more media minded.Best offers for the Sony Play...

  • Gaming is great, Blu-ray playback is almost flawless, Media hub is the best, Failure rate is very low
  • Still a bit pricey, PSN is second best to Xbox Live

  • Inexpensive Bluray player
  • Remote costs extra, Image quality falls flat
  • 40GB Game console doubles as a competitive Blu-ray Disc player. Images look good, but often lack the depth and sharpness of other players.
