  • High pixel density display, Designconscious chassis, Good loudspeaker, Dual mics for noisecancellation and stereo sound capture
  • Camera could be better, LED light doesn't serve as automatic flash
  • To summarize our impressions from the tiny phone – it is tempting to dismiss the Sony Ericsson Xperia ray as a less-capable version of the Xperia arc, but what you get is in fact a more compact variant, without sacrificing much but an HDMI port. Actua...

God skjerm. Bra brukergrensesnitt. God pris.
  • Litt dårlig batterilevetid.

  • Typing messages is surprisingly easy on the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, despite its 3.3-inch display and using the onscreen QWERTY keyboard in portrait orientation. Even though we missed a letter here and there, the built-in auto correction feature help...

  • Speedy, Strong audio, Responsive display
  • Lack of physical camera button, Sluggish to home screen
  • Strong mid-range smartphone offering helps put Sony Ericsson back on the right track

  • We were pleasantly surprised with the Xperia Ray. Expecting a plasticky, miniaturised Xperia Arc wannabe, what Sony Ericsson have made here is perhaps what the Xperia Neo should have been. Noticeably smaller than the Xperia Arc, arguably as thin, and l...

  • Lightweight at just 100g; FWVGA resolution screen with a 297ppi; good battery life; fast camera shutter; loud speaker volume.
  • 3.3-inch display is too small to type on for those with large fingers; buttons are not backlit and can be hard to use in the dark.
  • The Xperia ray is a good-looking handset with a capable camera and a great display. It's a shame it's may just be too small a smartphone for most men. ...

  • Abstract:  When the Xperia Ray was unveiled at CommunicAsia in June, we wondered why Sony Ericsson had gone the opposite direction where everyone seems to be heading. The new phone had only a 3.3-inch screen when others were more than 4-inches wide, and it only spor...
