  • Clear, powerful audio. Lots of input options. Attractive retro design. Free companion iOS app.
  • Some distortion at high volumes. Audible hiss when nothing is playing.
  • The Soundfreaq Sound System looks great, sounds good, and packs a load of extra features, but its sound won't stand up to audiophile scrutiny. Buy it now...

  • Solid sound quality and amplitude, Cool if not different design, iPod dock, Bluetooth connectivity and FM radio options,
  • Horrible iPhone app is almost useless, Design won’t appeal to all, Buttons and knobs are a bit fiddley

  • The Sound Platform speaker dock will spoil you with its design details and extensive features, including Bluetooth support, FM radio, iPhone compatibility, a dedicated app, and remote control
  • Sound quality doesn't hold together at high volumes, the app isn't worth your time, and the integrated screen is dim
  • You'll have a hard time finding a more stylish and feature-packed speaker choice in this price range. The inclusion of Bluetooth support makes it an attractive buy for iPad and smartphone owners.
