Engaging class missions with a distinctly BioWare feel. Well-designed skills. A good sense of being in the Star Wars Universe. An epic orchestral score and solid voice acting. Lightsabers.
Occasionally buggy. Currently limited end-game. Force alignment and Social points system are prescribed. Some poor design decisions that will be ironed out in later patches (auction House GUI, no PvP level brackets, and so on.)
It may carry a lot of the same foundations as other MMOs but BioWare has given the genre something it has desperately needed - actual RPG - and that can only spell good things for us all.TOP GAME MOMENTNigh impossible to nail down but really I'd have to s...
Outstanding production values capture the vibe of the Star Wars universe, Companions add depth both to the story and to the gameplay, Combat is exciting to watch and hear, Eight fully voiced, branching stories give you a good reason to reach level 50, Crew skills keep things moving by automating gathering and selling.
Instancing can make open areas feel empty, Frequent, uninspired corridor levels, Shallow space combat is a missed opportunity.

The cinematic scenes are phenomenally good to the point of being able to be in a single player AAA title, Not just one, not two, but a whopping SIXTEEN fully voiced stories, each running 30hours long, More than enough content for a newly released MMO
So…much…walking (at least until level 25). You'll be begging for a speeder by then, The worlds feel strangely empty, especially in large cities where you would expect people, The game unloads all of its textures when you AltTab out, and it can be kind o
This has to be one of (if not THE) best MMO launches I've ever seen – the game is sublimely deep an...

Abstract: Alright boys and girls, it's time to talk about something that's very near and dear to me. Is it my family? My friends? That cute girl over I saw over there? No, but it is something that's taking up a fairly large chunk of my present social life. It's Sta...
SWTOR isn't my dream Star Wars game, it isn't even my dream MMORPG but I did enjoy playing it. Even though it doesn't add anything new to either of these genres it brings on dewey-eyed Star Wars nostalgia. Having reached level 21, Bioware has me hooked li...
