  • Abstract:  Different as they might be in terms of price, design tweaks and support, the Tower 120 Extreme and NH-U12P are getting the same score today and that's 8.2 Techconnect Marks for their ability to combine almost everything one would want from a high-end air cooler. And since we loved their performance here today, they also get a Gold Award to add to their trophy case. E.N.D.

  • noise level at low R. P.M, The 120mm fan can be replaced
  • Cannot be upgraded with a second fan like other differently designed coolers, High noise levels when fan is operating at full R. P.M.
  • The Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme CPU cooler makes the difference with its very interesting design, with a pre-installed 120mm fan embedded into the fins and its impressive dimensions. First of all, its retail package is full and includes mounting mechanis...

  • Tuniq gives us a really nice looking cooler. Unique fin patterns, staggering the sizes of the heat pipes, use of a black nickel coating, and a heart of blue LED lighting from the fan make the Tower 120 Extreme a very appealing addition to any chass...

  • Abstract:  Tuniq's Tower 120 Extreme is an enthusiast grade heatsink that cools very well, pretty quietly. In fact I'll save you the suspense and tell you straight up that it tops Frostytech's Intel reference chart and that it's one of the Top 5 best-ever heatsi...

  • Abstract:  Tuniq is one of several manufacturers to use direct-touch heat pipes to reduce latent heat and cooler weight. A finely sanded finish maintains excellent flatness for improved CPU contact, although grooves along each heat pipe’s edge slightly..

  • Unique Tower, Price, HDT, Great Cooling performance, Fan Controller, Universal Fitting, Easy fitting for a large cooler
  • Fan at full power is louder than expected from specification, No insulation on universal backplate.
  • The Tuniq Tower Extreme has a street price of £38.53 / $58.99 and when compared to some of its closest rivals, the Prolimatech Megahalems Mega Shadow £65, Noctua NH-U12P SE2 £60.00 or the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme £31.96, it offe...

  • Build Quality, Design, LED Fan, Silent
  • Price / Performance Ratio
  • Although the original Tower 120 was a real success because of its great for the time performance levels, the Tower 120 Extreme fails to impress with good but not great results. Had Tuniq added 2 fans in push and pull instead of a single sand...

  • When first unboxing the Tower 120 Extreme it is immediately evident that Tuniq have created a high end cooler. The weight gives it a quality feel when mixed with the good build quality; there are no flimsy or loose sections on this cooler.Installation...
