  • Small and lightweight, USB Dock, SmartTouch, SlideScroll, RapidCharge, Customizable 'up', Pen-like grip, No software, Works with Ubuntu and possibly other mature Linux distributions, Additional parking accessories available
  • No MMB, Can't use left and right mouse button concurrently, Docking with the USB dock is generally impossible with vertical USB ports, Right hand design only
  • After passing the SwiftPoint mouse around the office it's not for everybody. Some will reject it because it looks weird, and it feels funny. Others won't work with it long enough to find their comfort grip. Left handers may find a way to use it, bu...

  • Overall, the Futuremouse is very nicely crafted piece of kit, Christmas-cracker-sized but built like real jewellery. Priced like real jewellery too, alas. For the money you could opt buy a couple of standard bulk wireless mice from decent brands, but ...

  • Compact; fast charging; can be used at any angle; charges off its own USB receiver
  • May be too compact for some; the stick-on mat could start to peel off; right-handed only (a version for lefties is on the way)
  • Great build quality, well-placed buttons and a scroll wheel illustrate that the developers have set out to design and build the best mouse for mobile working

  • Quirky mouse designs don't work for everyone, and at £49 the Swiftpoint mouse could turn out to be a pricey gamble. Certainly, it's better suited to smaller hands - and a non-starter for left-handed users. For others, we'd certainly suggest giving it a...

  • Abstract:  When we take a trip and bring along a laptop, it is important for us to be able to work while on the go. Road warriors and airplane fliers might not be at a desk when the call comes in to fix that presentation that your boss is doing in 20 minutes. Times...

  • The Swiftpoint Mouse's scrollwheel feature really makes this gadget stand out among the pack. If you don't mind holding a pen, the unique style of this mouse may work well for you. But if you find a tight, compact grip awkward, you may want to look el...

  • Slick design combines charger with transmitter, supereasy scrolling
  • Pen-style grip may feel awkward in some hands
  • The Swiftpoint Mouse boasts an innovative design and one of the most versatile scrolling mechanisms we've seen, but the required finger position--similar to the grip of a pen--may be uncomfortable for long-term use...
