This HDDs interface is SATA 3 Gb/s (Gigabits per second), has a capacity of 2TBs (2000GBs), a varying rotation speed of 5,400 to 7,200 RPMs, a 32MB buffer size, power consumption is 7.4W while being accessed & 4W when idle, the noise level is 25dBA to 29dBA & comes with a 3 year warranty.   • Abstract:  After this review of two of the 2 TB drives currently available, the Western Digital comes out on top. Sure, with 5900 rpm, the Barracuda LP does give faster performances at times, but this is not systematic, especially with better NCQ management from Western Digital..
