  • Yakuza 0 starts 2017 with a very enjoyable gaming experience that takes elements from a variety of genres and then blends them together like some Iron Chef of gaming...

  • Abstract:  You no longer have an excuse not to play a Yakuza game.I've been telling people for years to try this series, all the while knowing deep down that I was asking the impossible. I mean. jumping into such a lore-heavy franchise at its 4th and 5th entry, hun...

  • Abstract:  Thanks to the popularity of Grand Theft Auto, there's been no shortage of attempts to bring crime drama to video games. They all want to be the medium's answer to The Sopranos, but sadly, they usually end up looking more like Corky Romano. That said, we'v...

  • Yakuza 0 is another sprawling entry in the open-world series, packed with an extraordinary amount of things to do and centred around a genuinely compelling crime story. Since it's a prequel, it's also unburdened by the series' increasingly intricate backs...

  • Cash is king, Dozens of minigames and sidequests, Accessible to both series newcomer and veteran, Facial tech still among the best in the industry
  • Quirkiness can be jarring to those expecting a 100% serious crime drama, Camera control still spotty at times
  • Whether you're visiting Kamurocho for business or pleasure, be prepared to sink another eighty hours into a crime epic that only Sega can deliver...
