  • Solid performance across the board. 8GB of HBM 2 memory should prove useful in the long term. Matches the current performance value king, the GTX 1070, which is no small feat. Modern DX12 architecture. Freesync gaming, yea
  • Vega seems to be less efficient than Nvidia's Pascal. We were expecting a bit more from the late challenger

  • Oh yes, I'll state it again. Personally I do appreciate Vega 56 better compared to the 64. Vega 56 offers and is a better proposition at 399 USD. That money just feels right for what you get. It's more or less 10% slower than the 64 (air-cooled model) yet...

  • If you're looking for an alternative to the GTX 1070, the bottom line is that you're generally getting around 10 to 12 per cent of additional performance with the Vega 56, at the cost of some efficiency. It's also interesting to note just how consistently...

  • Before we issue a verdict on the RX Vega 56 and RX Vega 64, it's time once again to sum up our results in our famous value scatter plots. To produce these charts, we take the geometric mean of the average FPS figures for each game we tested. We also conv...

  • Genuine competition to GeForce, Hits GTX 1070 hard, Well suited to QHD FreeSync
  • Needs better cooling, Frustratingly loud, Wattage thirsty
  • The Radeon RX Vega 64 and RX Vega 56 GPUs are not the performance silver bullets that'll take down the best that rival Nvidia has to offer. Rumours and rumbling preceding the launch indicated these two cards hewn from an all-new architecture would (in)con...

  • So there you have it. After a nearly two years of false leads, junk tabloid journalism, an endless number of teases by AMD and a solid 48 hours of benchmarking we now know where AMD’s RX Vega fits into things. For those who waited all this time in the hop...
