  • Blistering SSD performance; SSD can now be fitted alongside hard drive; bright, vibrant IPS screen
  • 256GB SSD too small for single-drive use and a very expensive option
  • The SSD-equipped price is not to be sniffed at, but the performance of the 27in iMac in this quad-core configuration is extremely impressive. It's also a more compact, yet just-as-capable, option as the entry-level Mac Pro, and cheaper too if you fact...

  • Gorgeous design. Excellent trackpad. Awesome screen
  • Dual-core CPU. Mid-range graphics. Rear headphone socket
  • A beautiful body and a stunning screen, the 27in iMac remains the best all-in-one around ...

  • LED-backlit display, excellent design and construction, good performance, new processors and graphics cards
  • No HDMI or Blu-ray, no number pad on included keyboard, glossy display can be distracting
  • Apple's latest iMac retains an identical design to earlier iMacs but features upgraded internal components. If you've recently purchased an iMac there isn't enough to justify an upgrade, but if you're looking to purchase your first Mac or want to upgrade...

  • If time is money, this is a serious computer to consider -- not because of its raw processing power alone, but because of the fact that its raw processing power helps you get some of your life back. That's a concept many people seem to forget. All tho...

  • Nice screen, well calibrated, Nice look and finish, Satisfying across the board performance, Quiet, Compact, absence of cords
  • Limited and inaccessible connectivity, No BluRay player, Glossy screen subject to reflections
  • Without revolutionising the all-in-one concept, this iMac 27-inch is convincing all the same and has all the elements needed to make it a recipe for success. It does however lack some seasoning. We would have liked to see richer and more accessible con...

  • Drool-worthy 27-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD display, Top-notch industrial design and build quality, Ultra-fast bootup with SSD option, Killer gaming performance with Radeon HD 5750, Surprisingly ample sound, Cool and quiet, even during gaming
  • Abysmal keyboard and mouse, No analog 5.1-channel outputs, Blu-ray option, Pricy relative to similarly equipped PCs
  • Apple sticks with tried-and-true design but cranks speed to maximum with the latest generation of iMacs....
