Largest display among all-in-one desktops; best-in-class productivity and gaming performance; DisplayPort provides home entertainment flexibility; SDXC card slot supports cards up to 2TB in size
Connecting external video devices requires an extra, expensive adapter because it lacks an HDMI port, no Blu-ray drive, runs hot
Apple's new $1,999 iMac comes with a faster CPU and a new graphics card, helping this 27-inch all-in-one desktop stay as competitive in performance as it already was in screen size. Despite the still-frustrating absence of an HDMI port, we have no qua...
Abstract: Ladies and gentlemen, meet the fastest Mac we’ve ever seen: the 27in 2.93GHz quad core Core i7 iMac, equipped with a solid-state drive (SSD). This built-to-order (BTO) model posted the highest score of any Mac we’ve tested – for now.The 27in 2.93GHz q...

Though the SSD-equipped 2.93GHz quad core Core i7 iMac is impressive, we suspect that it won’t hold the title of World’s Fastest Mac for very long. Two new Mac Pros (the £1,999 quad core 2.8GHz Xeon model and the £2,799 eight core 2.4GHz Xeon model) just arrived in the lab...
The new Core i3 processor, Excellent graphics upgrade, Gorgeous screen, SD card reader upgraded to SDXC, SSD as sole or second drive option
No Blu-ray drive option, No anti-glare screen option, Hard drive not user-serviceable, Third-generation USB and FireWire not used, Core i3 has no Turbo Boost
£1400 might seem a horrendous amount to pay for an all-in-one computer, but this new mid-2010 iMac – the cheaper of the two 27-inch models – gives you a lot of computer for your cash. Although it has the same form factor as the 27-inch iMacs from the p...

Abstract: Apple’s recent refresh of the all-in-one iMac range may not have concurred with all of the preceding rumors, but the main expectation was certainly met: faster processors than ever before. Fresh to the SlashGear test bench is the 27-inch iMac, with the...
While others have tried and failed, the iMac is still king of the hill when it comes to all-in-ones. All that's left to ask for is faster external storage and better SSDs, but for now it still comes highly recommended.
