  • Good battery life, Crisp screen, Excellent interface, Large capacity, Excellent sound quality, Good design.
  • Unresponsive click wheel, Restricted to iTunes.
  • The iPod Classic goes for Rs.15,000 for the 120GB version, which is just about what an 8GB touch will cost you. Depending on whether you want the larger storage space and actual music or just a better convergence device you could make your choice betw...

  • Abstract:  If your only purpose in buying a new iPod is to play music, then the classic is for you. No fancy gimmicks here: just 120GB of hard disk, a 2.5in colour screen and a Click Wheel. Theres enough room on here to store even the beefiest of digital music c...

  • Apple has done very little to improve the iPod classic with this iteration - that's not necessarily a bad thing. It remains the iPod to own if you want to carry a lot of media with you. The Genius feature is a nice addition as is the ability to quickl...

  • Huge capacity; great sound quality; support for high-quality audio and video formats; decent screen; integration with iTunes for music, movie and TV show downloads; heaps of accessories available; sturdy design.
  • Only one capacity option; lackluster EQ options; weaker battery life compared with previously available classic.
  • 120GB of storage and the addition of the Genius feature make up for the slightly reduced battery life over the previous model, reaffirming the iPod classic as our favorite portable audio player on record.

  • Lots of storage capacity; impressive battery performance; Genius playlist support; browse album and artist features; slightly brighter display; charges with FireWire connection.
  • Doesn’t include such cool new iPod nano features as accelerometer or spoken menus; those with large media libraries may mourn the loss of the 160GB classic.

  • New York? Pah! This is the Big Apple! The iPod Classic comes in at a morbidly-obese 120GB.That’s enough for 30,000 songs and 150 hours of video - or one Kevin Costner movie. It’s called the Classic because it retains the original iconic design...
  • As good as the Classic is, it isn’t perfect. While the Cover Flow system is a touch of class, it doesn’t move as fluidly as the Flash-based Touch and nano, and menus aren’t as free-flowing. It’s also a little bit of bloater, but th...
  • It’s like Apple’s shoved the iPod from six years ago in a cryogenic chamber, gutted its innards, and shoved in a whopping great 120GB hard drive. Fantastic for people afraid of change or who have more songs than sense. Apple iPod Classic is ta...
