  • A superior update to Apple’s 2005 and 2006 hard-disk based iPods, featuring cleaner audio, crisper video, better storage capacity and greater than promised battery performance at last year’s prices. Available in silver or black versions, ...
  • equently, there is a lot to like about the iPod classic. More power efficient than its predecessors and equipped with an 80GB ($249) or 160GB ($349) hard disk, it unquestionably delivers markedly superior value for the dollar than what it replaces. The...

  • The iPod Classic is just like the Video iPod, only slimmer, tougher, and injected with a more visually rich graphic user interface.
  • Video output now requires a proprietary cable; audio quality has not improved; some older iPod video accessories may not be compatible; users are required to use the latest version of iTunes, which may not work on some older computer systems.
  • The iPod Classic is a refinement of the formula that put the iPod on the map. Few can match its combination of storage capacity, battery life, and advanced user interface.

  • Huge storage (who really has 40,000 songs?), Good value, Anodised aluminium front feels like quality, Video and photos are bright and clear, Interface looks even slicker than ever ...
  • but marred by hard disk lag issues, Sound quality still, at best, mediocre, Cover Flow a case of form over function, New accessories required for video out
  • The name suggests more of the same but with more space and better value. Hard disk lag issues, video out controversy and just okay sound stop it from being a true classic though.

  • Metal casing, CoverFlow
  • No touch, no real change apart from metal casing and some software tweaks
  • If you are serious about your music, video and image collection and want to carry it around with you, then this is the model for you

  • Abstract:  11/07 iPod classic – Forbedret klassikerLastekapasitet koster ikke like mye som før. Derfor kan Apple tilby dobbelt så høy kapasitet for en femhundrelapp mindre på iPod classic. For et knapt år siden måtte man ut med 3.300 kroner for en fullblods...

  • As the latest hard drive iPod, the Classic - with its extra capacity and metal casing - is a good extension to the series. Yes, the silver model falls flat, but the black version is spot on. Wed say the same about the revamped user interface if it wa...
