Excellent portability, good image reproduction, stylish looks, handwriting recognition works well

This good-looking and portable unit has all the features of a great Ultra Mobile tablet PC, but nowhere near enough power to make it happen. With functionality issues like screen resolutions resetting every log-in and the touch screen disabling after i...
Short battery life, Poor ergonomics, Case surfaces become hot at work, Low display resolution
The R2G should not be criticized much just because the whole Origami concept doesn’t look mature as yet. The main downside is the short battery life. Why all this mobility if the device cannot last long away from the mains? Considering that the R2H...

Bigger and heavier than other UMPC systems; underpowered CPU; difficult to input text.
The Asus R2H is too big to be truly ultramobile, but its relatively large screen and decent battery make it good for on-the-go Web surfing and media playing, even if the onscreen keyboard is a chore to use.
The Asus R2H is a device, like other UMPCs, has a bit of an identity crisis. It certainly can't replace a laptop or desktop as an everyday PC, but it's too large to replace a PDA. If you have specific needs and you know the R2 might fit those needs giv...
Good hardware design; impressive array of accessories; built-in GPS receiver and digital camera
Heavy and slightly unwieldy; average battery life
The Asus R2H comes with a great bundle of accessories and shows off the ultra-mobile PC format to good effect, however it still does nothing that an ultraportable laptop cannot ...
Abstract: PRESENTATIONThe ASUS R2H is the first UMPC (ex-Origami Project) device with a built-in GPS receiver and as a result was much anticipated. It may sound a bit odd when its easy enough to add a Bluetooth GPS, but as most of us whove used PDAs or PDAPho...
