Cute 3D character models, many animated cutscenes, interesting storyline, two games in one, multiple endings, unusual forging and weapon/armor creation system, good voice acting, traditional JRPG themes, nice assortment of side-quests and there’s a journal to keep track of your progress in case you forget your task/what’s going on/who’s who.
