  • The Kwikset Kevo is a uniquely convenient smart lock that can let you in with a single touch. The second-gen model is designed better than before, with a smaller interior footprint, easier installation and resistance against brute-force attacks. All "eKey
  • The second-gen Kevo no longer includes the helpful key fob accessory, but it still costs more than generation one

  • Kiwkset's Kevo is an amazing product that works exactly like you think it would. It's incredibly convenient to no longer have to pull the keys out of my pocket to unlock my front door, especially when my hands are full. Let's not forget all the useful...

  • Abstract:  As a man, there are three things you need to remember when leaving the house. Mobile phone, wallet and keys. This impressive new Bluetooth deadlock might just reduce that list to just two, as there could be no need for house keys. We've seen many versions o...

  • Can use smartphone or key fob for hands-free unlocking, Colored status lights, Sleek iOS app, Works with Nest
  • Doesn't work with all Android devices, Only works with a few smart home systems, Extra codes cost $1.99 each
  • A sharp-looking deadbolt with a deceptively plain outside face, the Kwikset Kevo is a smart lock with some intelligent features – most notably, the ability use your fingers to unlock the deadbolt. However, it works only with a limited number of Android de...

  • Steep pricetag doesn't offer enough value, No support for WiFi/ZWave control or status checking, Doesn't work with Android or Windows Phones, Only includes one keyfob and two eKeys (additional fees for more), Interior piece is an eyesore, Suffers from a f
  • Kwikset's Kevo adds great convenience to a consumer's home although with this convenience comes at a high price tag. The product is not an easy sell at its $219 price-point for a few reasons. When compared to lower-priced competitors, the lack of support...

  • iPhone acts as our key to unlock the Kevo, eKeys allow us to give/remove authorization to users, Ability to see a history of who is accessing the Kevo, Battery life is rated for up to 1 year, It retains the distinct look of a traditional deadbolt lock
  • Support is limited to the iPhone, $220 cost is pretty tough to swallow, Installation can be a process for those with no experience
  • Kwikset gladly refers to the Kevo as “the key evolved.” We undeniably agree with this statement, seeing that the Kevo is an evolutionary step to the usual deadbolt lock. Despite that, it doesn't come cheap! Rather, the Kwikset Kevo sports a retail price o...

  • Easy installation and setup, Convenient features, Inconspicuous design
  • Doesn't work with Android, Windows, Blackberry phones, Doesn't work with other home-automation products
  • In terms of performance and convenience, Kevo definitely lives up to its promises. Despite having a few quirks and setup problems at launch, UniKey has successfully smoothed out all of Kevo's bumps with the latest firmware update. In our experience, it ...

  • Easy to install. Provides fingertip access using eKeys. Let's you know who's coming and going.
  • Pricey. No Android or Web app support. Slight lag time when unlocking. No notifications with key fob
  • With the Kevo Bluetooth lock and an iOS device, you can unlock your door with a swipe of your finger. It's not cheap and it comes with some minor drawbacks, but if you're ready to lose your traditional keys, it's worth checking out....

  • Touch-to-open and touch-to-lock, Send eKey to other people, Four AA batteries provide year-long usage
  • No customizable proximity limits, No temporary, time-specific eKeys, No Wi-Fi remote access, Bottom Line: Kevo is the 21st century way to keylessly touch lock and unlock your home's door, but lacks customizable convenience and security options, Images: St
