Abstract: So it's back to the project of getting a decent Dolby 5.1 home cinema sorted out. This, however, will clearly lead to unwelcome additions to our growing menagerie of remote controls. These currently number six, with a total of 217 buttons, of which I know...
Setup compatible at myharmony.com, Sleek design& excellent build quality, Touchscreen & physical key combo, Keys have differing designs for better touch location, RF module included in package, Dock for charging remote
It costs a whole lot of money, Doesn't get along with Mac OS X, Very glossy body, for the most part
This is by far the most functional universal remote we have used - perfect combination of the touchscreen and physical keys. And is the best looking as well. If only it didn't give so much a scare to Macbook users! With the RF module as a part of the pack...
Incompatible with earlier Harmony remotes: no way to transfer existing activities/devices from old to new remote, No macro support, Swapping out a device isn't as simple as it could be
Although the inability to transfer existing devices and activities from another Harmony remote is a bummer, and the lack of macro support is a bit surprising, the fact is that the Harmony 900 is the most flexible, easiest to use and simplest to progra...

Price will scare off some buyers; PS3 control requires addon dongle; dearth of user-programmable multi-device macros will frustrate advanced users.
Touchscreen adapts to specific situations. Feels great in-hand. Massive device database means it's compatible with most hardware. Simple macros jump between entertainment center functions. Rechargeable battery lasts at least several days away from cha...
Lack of OS 10.6specific documentation caused us needless confusion. Can't control most bluetooth devices; needs $60 adapter to control Playstation 3. Advanced users can't program macros within macros for functions like TiVo's stepped fastforwa...
After first stumbling because the remote lacked enough documentation, the Harmony 900 won us over. It expertly replaces all of your old remotes, adding activity macros and IR compatibility.Harmony 900...
The Harmony® 900 Remote is the latest in advanced remote technology from the Harmony line and offers customers full RF wireless technology for reliable control of their A/V components. Like the earlier Harmony models, the Harmony 900 is easy to progr...
