At $300 (£186, AU$340), it's priced above equally legitimate sous vide competitors. Also, the design isn't the greatest if you're planning on slow cooking for multiple days
The Nomiku is a great kitchen gadget, but it's the wrong time to buy one. Shop around for a cheaper competitor -- or hold out for Nomiku 2.0....
