Abstract: <b>Spec:</b> 6.6 lbs, Silver, Remote control, Surround Sound, DVD player, Tabletop, Dolby Digital<br> <b>Good:</b> DVD-A and HDCD capable; MP3 CD playback support; very good progressive-scan video performance; aspect-ratio control.<br> <b>Bad:</b> Artifacts in 4:3 interlaced mode; no bass management with DVD-A.<br> <b>Bottomline:</b> The added HDCD support and marginally superior design dont give the SD5700 much of a leg up on the lower priced SD4700. But if you can find it for $250 or less, its worth strongly considering.<br>
