Upon initial inspection, the Zalman Reserator XT is a phenomenal product. First, its the easiest installation liquid cooling system weve ever used.....taking less than 30 minutes to install using the same mounting kit found on many Zalman cooling pro...
Auto and Manual modes, Warning and Alarm system, Many front panel options, Supports additional blocks
Expensive
The Zalman Reserator XT is a handy external water cooling system. It includes many features that you probably wouldnt see on many other external water cooling devices. Features such as warning systems, handling up to three addition water blocks with...
Big, but looks fantastic, Excellent performance, Simple to install, Includes a great waterblock (ZM-WB5), Zalmans legendary build quality, Quiet,
Expensive, Temperature gauge seems sketchy
Having built a name for themselves over the years by providing quiet cooling solutions for everyday users and enthusiasts alike, Zalman has become more and more known for their performance products and for pushing the envelope by going places not many...
Abstract: Video Review: The Zalman Reserator XT External Water Cooling System performs very well, is super easy to install and very compact. If you are looking for a compact water cooling system that is on par with some of the separate hardcore water cooling kits, I would strongly recommend you check out this product. With a 120mm fan, 120mm radiator, 500L/hr pump and newly designed solid copper CPU water block, it's extremely impressive. This unit also comes with quick connect couplings. These quick connect couplings enable easy connection and disconnection of tubes. This means the water block can be installed or removed without having to drain and refill the reservoir. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.
Abstract: With its new hybrid cooling design for the XT, Zalman has lost the traditional silence of the previous Reserator systems, but gained significant cooling performance. The Reserator XT is indeed a worthy successor to the Reserators of the past and boast...
Highest cooling performance with overclocked CPUs, Low noise level at the minimum speed of the fan, Universal (supports all modern platforms), Allows to add more waterblocks into the circuit, Simple to assemble and install, Simple to connect/disconnect an...
High price, Doesn’t cool the nearsocket space on the mainboard, Large dimensions of the main unit
The new liquid cooling system from Zalman is a definite success. For the first time in our tests a liquid cooling system has managed to outperform an air cooler. The Reserator XT was better by 10°C than the Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme (with two fa...
To date there has not been one single Zalman product that we tested that disappointed. The Reserator XT surely again is a fantastic product. Aesthetically pleasing, good cooling, low noise. I mean, this is the gear that a hardware geek like yours trul...
